ACCESS TO FINANCE

An additional focus of the INTEGRA project is to advance the financial capabilities and understanding of young entrepreneurs. To this end, 16 Financial Management Consultants (FMCs) work alongside the programme’s young entrepreneurs, MSMEs, cooperatives and other entities that benefit from financial guidance. The FMCs are working to improve the credit profile of young entrepreneurs as well as provide expert advice in the preparation of business plans, identifying sources for financing and the fundamentals in financial education.

This team of financial advisors has supported over 350 young or aspiring entrepreneurs in developing their business plans, finance education as part of the programme’s agricultural training workshops GRAINE. Their work also extends through the support of 40 MSMEs and cooperatives to improve their financial and overall business plans to secure financial investment for their prospective growth.
