The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are at the heart of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, adopted by all United Nations Member States in 2015. They are a call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity by 2030. The SDGs comprise 17 individual goals, which contribute to the idea that development must balance economic, social and environmental sustainability. Given its characteristics, objectives and areas of implementation, Colombia PUEDE contributes to the following SDGs: Goal # 1 No poverty. Goal # 2 Zero hunger.Goal # 8 Decent work and economic growth.Goal # 10 Reduced Inequalities. Goal # 17 Partnerships for the goals.
