8 May - 9 May 2014
The ITC held a two-day Business Seminar on May 8th and 9th 2014 at the WTO, sponsored by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. In the workshop, LDC companies exporting services-and those working with them-brought commercial experiences to the WTO to help stimulate thinking on orienting services negotiations-especially those related to LDCs -to commercial realities faced by exporters. This event was also an opportunity for services exporters from LDCs to showcase their talent and discuss the constraints and challenges they face in reaching international markets, drawing on practical commercial evidence.
