    1.The amount of finished product (output) obtainable from a given quantity of raw material undergoing processing (input). Also the actual production of packaged units expressed as a percentage of the theoretical number obtainable from a given quantity of product.

    2.The area per unit weight of material expressed in m2/kg.

    Yield point

    The point beyond which the stress applied to a material will cause permanent deformation.
